Good afternoon!
League Joe has arrived in Texas and we aren't going anywhere.... but we did fumble a little bit getting out of the gate. So we're going to hit the reset button and relaunch with a bang for the fall.
First, we want to make it clear that we are here in association with @Mike Delatte and Rowlett USSSA softball. We're both dedicated to growing the game of softball, and we're excited to work with him on the establishment of these new draft leagues.
LEAGUE ADJUSTMENTS
- We will delay the start of our first league until October 8 to better fit into the calendar of other local leagues and events
- Our inaugural fall season will run for 5 total weeks, and the costs will be adjusted to reflect the shortened season. You'll still get jerseys though!
- In the month of September, we will setup a couple "Open Play & Rookie Training" nights so new players have a chance to learn some of the basics of softball and knock the rust off before they commit to a full league
- Working with Rowlette USSSA, we are setting up a Friday Night Lights draft tournament, tentatively scheduled for Oct 4. This will be a low cost, fun way to introduce y'all to our style of drafts so save the date - more info soon
