These are the most common and/or most unique rules being used for this event. Please see "Official Rulebook" for exhaustive list of playing rules. When in conflict, rules written here shall supercede those in the official rulebook.
As a player, you are responsible for knowing all official rules of the game. By participating in the league, you are agreeing that you are aware of all rules associated with the league and the sport, and agree to abide by them at all times.
- Game 1 Starts at 1:00pm
- First 48 players (4 total teams)
- 2 Pool Play games followed by single E tournament
- Pool play top team chooses their matchup for tourney
- Batters start with 2-2 count and batters get one courtesy foul
- Each game is 5 innings
- 8 run cap per inning, 5th inning is open
- All other LJ standard rules apply
- Players cannot be benched defensively more than 1 inning in each game
Players with a position guarantee will be indicated to the team coaches and are entitled to play the position they paid for. They still must follow defensive benching restrictions and may be benched for one inning of defensive play, subject to their coach's discretion, but will return to their position following their rest inning. Players may voluntarily sub themselves out of the position at any time for any reason, but should not be compelled to do so.
Players will also bat in the top half of the lineup, subject to their own discretion if they prefer to bat lower.
General Admission Players
General Admission players will have second priority on position and should be placed by the coach into one of their primary positions they request. Utility players will fill in any positions not claimed by Position Guarantee players or General Admission Players.
